St Hilary's Credits!

St Hilary's would simply never have happened at all if it wasn't for all of our friends and contributors.  Many thanks to them all and you can find out who they all are below.......

  • Vic Newey for putting this church together from a kit by Dollshouse Direct AND for modifying it as well as adding his own special effects to the decor too.  Vic used to work for the BBC doing special effects on such famous television series as "All Creatures Great and Small".  Thanks also to Vic for extending the church AND creating our bells and bell ropes!

  • Jane Davies for many of the porcelain dolls seen here including all the children, bride and bridegroom. We particularly thank her for providing Priscilla Jane, our praying doll, and "Robert Alexander", our "lazy boy", as two special commissions.  They are both  true works of art and we are thoroughly delighted with them both!

  • Catherine Davies,  my sister, for knitting an exquisite silk bridal gown (designed by Lesley Roberts) for my bridal doll,  for knitting the dress for the baby doll and tea cosy. (coffee and cake events).  Catherine is also responsible for virtually all of the synthetic clay food (cakes and vegetables seen on all of our pages), and all the frogs, fimo flowers, tadpoles and crayons seen on the site too. Catherine is also responsible for stitching all of Nicola Mascall's kneeler kits for us too.
Catherine now has her own website: www.dollshouseheaven.co.uk  Visit her site to see more of her exquisite work both in miniature fimo food, flowers and her miniature knitting!

Collect (Prayer) for 4th May 2008

The Sunday after Ascension Day

O God the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: we beseech you, leave us not comfortless, but send your Holy Spirit to strengthen us and exalt us to the place where our Saviour Christ is gone before, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.  Amen.

This site is dedicated to Hilary Doreen Davies who departed this life 26 November 2003 aged 71 after 23 years of chronic illness with strokes, cancer and arthritis.  St Hilary's Church is our tribute to a brave lady who was mother to Sarah, Catherine, the late Rachel, the late John and wife to the late Owen Williams Davies.
